Negativ: "Boarding: by bus at BKK on a Boeing 777, not as expected with emirates, gate was set as “G1A”, we read this as Gate 1A, but needed to run from A1 all the way to G1, got late on the bus. Food: Chicken with peppers average, no good taste Drinks: had to broken cups, one on the top (changed that), one at the bottom with a hole in it. Red wine spilled all over my trousers and pullover. Shit happens, but (a) what about the quality of the goods and (b) how does the crew handle this? Crew/Service: Generally friendly, but the guy who served the red wine had no clue how to handle this: 1. Red wine on cloth is bad to clean 2. After I complained about a possible problem with cleaning and the possibility that the stain would stay, no reaction, only sortiere and the Recommendation from him was to use soda water which was actually not at hand and took him more then 10min to bring it. 3. I requested for the supervisor. She was very friendly and took my email address to write a report on this. I am now waiting for reaction and possible refund for cleaning or more. Another drink was offered but that was all until now. So I am curious about the reaction from Emirates. Overall it seemed like Emirates has a bad standing in BKK: - Bus boarding on B777 - No clear information about gate - Bad quality of material (cups) - For Emirates under average food quality Additional remark: The following connection flight from DXB to DUS, was very good, overall quality as expected from Emirates, food and staff was very good. So the above review from BKK -> DXB might have been an exception."

Positiv: "After our trip from Cape Town to Dubai with Emirates which was not that great we where pleasantly surprised when we where bumped up to business class from Dubai to Bangkok. We did not expect this. Although we did not take advantage of all the extras business class has to offer we had a great nights sleep and the breakfast was superb. The cabin crew was excellent all the time. Thank you Emirates."

Thy have old planes, funny rules about phone use and just awful customer service and disregard for people plans and changes that they make. Never book China airlines. You will regret it I promise you."

Positiv: "I fly to South East Asia quote often and have tried a a few airlines. China Airlines has been the most consistent in all aspects. On time, ease of flying, on board entertainment. I will continue to look to use this Airline in the future."

Positiv: "The flight I was on was leaving at 1:45AM. It took about 15-20 minutes to check in our bags and there were about 75 people ahead of us. We didn't wait at all for TSA, just walked up and there was absolutely no line. The China airlines staff was very nice and helpful. Also, there were screens on the headrest in front of us and they had new tv shows, music and movies all for free and they even provided earphones."

Negativ: "The seats could have been a little more comfortable but it wasn't unbearable."

Positiv: "China Airlines was very understanding with my carry-on situation as I had important medical equipment to hand carry."

Positiv: "Taipei is a nice airport to make connections through, with amenities on par with Seoul. Seemed much cleaner and more relaxed than other airports in the region that I've flown through in the past, such as Guangzhou or Hong Kong."

Negativ: "Flight departed 25 minutes late, but Taipei is a nice airport to make connections through. Still had to go through security between arrival/departure gates, but lines were short at our time of night. Crew seemed a bit tired, since this seems to be the last leg of their shift before rotating out in BKK before the plane goes on to Amsterdam."

Negativ: "Boarding was bad. Not done by zones. Everything is willy-nilly at boarding in Taiwan. First to board were families with small children (even before first class). Fine, except: There were several families with small children lined up at first. The gate agent was about to board them, then she stopped and went out into the gate's seating area and started grabbing families with teenagers (only) to board with the families with small children. Seriously, she went and got several families that had teens (no kids in the fam under age 10) only, and lined them up behind the fams with smaller kids. What an interesting look on the faces of the first-class passengers waiting in a separate line to board. After boarding the new category of "All Families", first class boarded. Then the masses. Once again, zones were not utilized by gate agents, and we all boarded at the same time, ignoring the zones (front/middle/rear). Once in my seat I could not find a charging outlet, nor a USB outlet. And wifi? I asked the F/A. Her response: "We don't have. Sorry. Its 1 hour 50 minute flight. You are OK." Really! No, sweet woman, YOU will be OK, working. I will have to waste 2 hours not getting something productive done. Entertainment unit on seatback: Waste of time. Even if it worked, the sound requires the old twin-male plugin jack on the armrest. Nobody has one of those in his pocket, and the F/A's never passed any out. I can hear it now, had I asked for one: "1 hour and 50 minute flight. You are OK.""

Häufige mutwillige Zerstörung meiner Rimowa Aluminumkoffer durch das Bodenpersonal: Dellen, Löcher, Kratzer (was zu langen Auseinandersetzungen nachträglich führt)."

Beide Maschinen veraltet, Unterhaltungstechnik von Entebbe funktioniert gar nicht, kein Bemühen der Besatzung, auch Bordtechnik im Airbus nach Stuttgart völlig veraltet! Keine Weiterempfehlung!"

Leider bleibt der Platz aber doch eingeengt, und die Sitze eng. Aber der Preis ist gut! Ich kann Türkisch Airlines nur empfehlen."

Positiv: "The flight started with a visit in the recently renovated KLM crown lounge in Amsterdam airport. I liked the various seating options and of course the upstairs bar. The service on board was attentive and efficient, the food options I really liked (especially the Chinese dish) but also the little touches like the nuts & gouda cheese which were served in small porcelain bowls. The seat itself was very comfortable when sitting and the structure gives a lot of privacy. However for couples or friends travelling it's a bit cumbersome to have a conversation even when sitting in seats next to each other. Overall my expectations were fulfilled."

Negativ: "This seat is not ideal for sleeping for taller persons (I'm 185cm tall) as the space to put the feet is very narrow and it's uncomfortable when lying on the back (as one cannot put them in the natural resting position). Cabin temperature could have been a bit lower for my taste. Crew needs better training with regards to transfer procedure in Chengdu."

Totally unhelpful ground staff, who were oblivious to the fact that I had a work commitment the next day so couldn’t overnight in some random hotel at an airport to suit Austrian’s policies. Eventually routed via Lisbon which meant literally flying all night to arrive at 0600. Lufthansa and Austrian have some serious faults to correct."

Food isn't great, but no airline food is really great. Boarding was significantly delayed from what it said on the boarding pass, with no updates. But we arrived on time. Getting luggage after flight at Dulles took a really long time, but I think that is more of an airport issue as getting my luggage from another Austrian airlines flight to another airport was a breeze."
